any particular symbolism, they just allow you to make out the different zones.
The eve or the cross-hairs © signals an additional element. Click.
The symbol ... accompanied by a noise indicates a possible bifurcation. By clicking
on it you decide to wander (return with the red arrow at bottom right). Otherwise, continue
the sequence with the right-hand arrow

ADVICE Don't zap, take your time. If you sweep over the screen with the
cursor you'll often see a text appear, or another image. As vou cross the
lines of text, you may see one or more words appear in negative--a sign to
click-and if you're patient, Guillaume-en-Egypte, the obliging cat, will
sometimes pop up to offer you additional bifurcation. Example
