"Glace magnifique"... Did I think of a
magnificent mirror, or something more glacial, an
iceberg? The wreek of the Titanic still lingered in people's
memories. In any case, that glass was an object imbued with
magicals power. You looked through it, and something of the
Other World became vivible. Sixty years later, that's exactly what
I'm doing right now. In the scenes this one-eyed Batman
unfolds, I try to catch a glimpse of Uncle Anton and an
entire vanished world, of wich his albums have
left me a few traces
